Antenatal Clinic
Monday 9.00-11.00am in Prestatyn
Friday 9.00 - 11.30 in Rhyl
Patients are seen by the midwife at the clinics by appointment.
Baby Clinic
The baby clinics are run by health visitor Alison Roberts for child development checks. These allow an opportunity to discuss other problems with Alison, eg, sleeping, feeding and child health worries.
There are two each week: Wednesday 10.15am in Prestatyn and Monday 10.15am in Rhyl.
Immunisation clinics are held on the first and second Monday in each month by appointment.
Minor Surgery Clinic
This clinic is for skin conditions and is held by Dr Scriven by arrangement
with the patient. Dr Scriven also works as a specialist in Dermatology in Ysbyty Glan Clwyd.
Asthma/Diabetes/CHD
Asthmatics, diabetic and patients suffering from coronary heart disease are monitored
by our practice nurses.
Cervical Smear Clinics
Cervical smear clinics are run by our practice nurses. It is recommended that
all eligible women have a cervical smear every three years.
Travel Immunisations
Travel immunisations and advice can be obtained from the practice nurses.
X-rays And Test Results
Please telephone after 2.00pm.
Non-NHS Services
Certain services, for example, private medicals, insurance claims, private
certificates, holiday cancellations, certain injections, passports, BUPA forms
etc, are not covered by the NHS and you will be asked to pay a fee. A leaflet
containing the fees is available at reception.
